I Believe in God


Religion is a sacred thing that is still exist until now. Human being had believed to animism and dynamism when it was in pre-history. That is one of the existence of religion. Religion is a kind of pursuance of human being with their God.

Philosophy is study that learn about phenomena of human's life and human's thinking and it is derived by base concept. This study sets out the human's logic about the truth of life.

I agree that religion and philosophy should be the one. The base of religion is a pursuance, and the base of philosophy is a logic. A pursuance that does not walk together with a logic will be a habit that is not having a meaning. A logic that does not walk together with a pursuance/belief will be a question without pole and it could be a digression. I can imagine, if I just pray with the ways of praying by my religion (Islam), for example is sholat. Sholat is a kind of pray in Islam that is done five times in a day, and done by some certain moving and readings. It will be just a habit for me if I do not think and know the meaning behind sholat itself.

There was a explanation from the guest lecture that I still did not understand clearly. It was about the people that agreed the religion and philosophy could be the one. There were three groups that agreed, they were rationalism group, mystic group, and existentialism group. The thing that I did not understand clearly was from the rationalism group. They said that "I think then I present". Is it just for the presence of God or it is also occured to the concrete things?. For example, there is an apple in front of me, then I think that there is no apple in front of me, so there is no apple in front of me. Whereas the apple is still exist.
After I think more about that, I got an understanding like this, "I have a brain and I can be used for thinking. I can think, because God has created that thinking. Then I think God is present".

Then, how do I believe in God?
I think how this world is present. Who can responsible for this world? Who has created this world, this galaxy? It that because of the theory of evolution? I don't think so. It is like human in the pre-history. They believe the thing that has a superior power that they think he/she/it could create or make happen somethings. So, I also think who has created the land, the fish, the sea, the earth, and the sky?
It does not need to think far away there. It is enough to think about my self. Who has created my body? Who has made me live?
It is like the reason why human beings believe in religion, that they need to get answers from their curiosity. That is why I believe in God. I think that God has created these all, and has designed these.

I believe in God, because God has answered my questions who has created these all, and made happen somethings. My believe that God is present is strengthen by knowledge about religion that I got from school. It explained the existence of God, the characteristic of God, and also how the way I pray to the God.
God has created me, and I still live until now. God has given me chances to still live in this world, and to struggle in my way. The existence of God is strengthen by the holy book, it is Al-Qur'an. Al-Qur'an is a holy book that is consist of the revelations of God, and the truth and it is unbreakable.

They way people capture the presence of God is different. I have my own way to capture the presence of God.  I touch my chest, and feel the beat of my heart. When it beats, it makes me express the thanks for God that has given me a life. Every beat, it makes me realize that God is present, God is exist and always beside me, beside us.

Reflection SEP week 2


            The second week is the week which my friends and I started to teach in classes. We were permitted to teach only in grade X and XI, both IPA and IPS in grade XI. My partner, Nizar, and I got class XI IPS 3, because we observed that class from the first observation day. The teacher gave us two topics for teaching in class XI IPS 3, report text and expression of relief, pain, and pleasure. He also gave us an additional topic, but it was must did by two teams, my teams and Melita's team. The additional topic was expression of relief, pain, and pleasure.

We taught report text in the first day. We had prepared the lesson plan since Friday in the first week. Reading and writing were the target skills. We had a game for the lesson, its name was reading race. The students have to find the answers by reading the text that have been patched on the wall. The lesson was running well, and appropriate with the lesson plan. However, it was a little bit boring in the beginning, because we thought to give them a brainstorm to make them think about something related to the topic. We give rewards for the team who won in the game. In the end, we gave them a reflection of the game, to always be serious in every lesson. The weakness of the first day teaching was the teaching finished earlier. We still had around 10 minutes again, but we decided to finish the lesson.

It was better for the second day. The students were very enthusiastic in joining the lesson. The target skill was speaking. We decided to give them brainstorm again, then making a game, the name was mix-match game. The students had to match the expressions of relief, pain, and pleasure. Then, the students had to present their work. The last activity of lesson development was making a conversation. They had to work in pair, and made a conversation, then, they present their conversation in front of class. The lesson was running well, and better than the first day.

We had a same topic in the last day, it was expressing relief, pain, and pleasure. Melita's team agreed to use my team's lesson plan, like in the second day. However, it was very different. We taught in XI IPA 1. The lesson was running fast, and we finished around 15 minutes before the time was over.

I enjoyed the days of team teaching. However, there were many obstacles when we were teaching. The first, it was the first time we taught in the front of real students, but it was a challenge for me. The second, we taught in the different class, with a different character of the students. The students were cooperative in the first class, but it was not in the second class.

If I connect what have I done when I was teaching with effective teacher, I could say that I haven't been qualified as an effective teacher for overall. As what I wrote in the first reflection about an effective teacher, "An effective teacher is a teacher who has good preparation before they teach, has good manners, clear in explaining the material, objective in giving assessment, creative, and understand what the students need. So, the purpose of teaching can be fulfilled". My friend and I had prepared the material, lesson plan, and what we need when we taught. We also had explained the material clearly. We had a good manner and being professional. Although the purpose and target skills were fulfilled, I think I haven't known what the students need to learn when we were teaching.

From all the days of SEP, I could make a conclusion, we as the teacher, have to know the characters of the students, then, we must know what they want to learn. The most important thing is we could be an effective teacher.

I hope I could be better in the next SEP, or the next time when I was teaching. So, I could be an effective teacher, not only in the school, but in everywhere I teach.

Reflection SEP week 1


Reflection of SEP for First Week

I got placed in SMA Asisi, Menteng Dalam, in this year on School Experience Program. I got placed there with my friends; Tri Handoko, Dendi Adrian, Mahgda Melita, Bernadeta Elmiatra, M.Nizar Zulfikar Paris, Yuko Pangestu, and Ambar Nurul Ansari. Although it was near of the campus, but we still had to go in early morning. We had to be there before 06.30 am, and joining the pray session before the lesson in teachers' office. The teachers welcomed us warmly.

The Students in that school are teached to be responsible and dicipline. However, they are teenagers, it's too hard to handle them. Actually, the students there are smart. When I was in the first day of observation, it was a listening session. They had to listen to the song, monolog, and the teacher. When they filled the blank parts of text, the got the good result. Almost all of them just did 1 - 2 wrong answers. The main point that I got is they are smart, but they don't have desirability to study. There was a teacher there who told us that most of the students went to school just wielded the chance to go out from their house. They still don't have the awareness that going to school is for study, not just go out from house.

I really enjoyed this first week. In addition that the distance of school from the campus is close, many things which I got from this week. First, I knew how Jakarta's Senior High School students ways to study in school. They always be brave everyday, be brave in answering the questions from the teacher. That's what I learnt from Brown's Principal in Language Teaching Methodologies (LTM). Second, I am now realizing that making a real lesson plan is hard, and I must work hard to make it. Third, it is need a sacrifice if I want to be a good educator/teacher. I must to get up in early morning, I must still go to school even I don't have a schedule to teach in that day. The most important thing is I must can learn together with my students, and be a friend for them.

There was no hard obstacles in the last week, but I think the obstacle will be come in second week. I think the appropriate term is "challenge". I will be started to do team teaching with my friend, Nizar in class XI IPS 3. the students in that class are good, but it is like the ordinary class, there are several bad students in the class. That's why I called it a challenge. The teacher made a schedule for us. Because of the number of English students is more than Mathematic students, it made an inequitable the number of observating, teacher assisting, and team teaching. Math students had more schedule than English students, they went to the class almost everyday. The English students were had a schedule to go to the class just 2 - 3 times per week.

When I saw the technology which used there, I think it was out of date. When I was in Vocational High School, I used a computer in Language laboratory, but they used a tool such interractive tape which the teacher could talk to the students by using earphone.
I hope it will be more interesting in second week, because I will be teach in second week. Hopefully my friend, Nizar, and I can teach the students well, and can make an interesting class lesson. So, finally we could get a good result.

Reflective on Effective Teacher - Part 2


The second meeting is interesting, because the lesson was started with watching video. I always feel curious when there is a video in a lesson, what is the video about. It was about Tematik Teaching. Based on video, Tematik teaching is teaching approach which more stressing on the theme of teaching, not stressing on subject.

The video had shown me that tematik teaching gives student more opportunity to learn more about the theme, and more opportunity to interact with their friends. Because the video had shown that the teacher came to a field with the students, and the teacher explained about characteristic of Rambutan fruit. She explained the color of the leaves of Rambutan, the color of rambutan itself, and showed the way how to count the numbers of Rambutan.

However, there was a weakness of Tematik Teaching itself. The teacher was talking and spending much time in the lesson with explaining the theme, and the she didn't give her student when there was a student who asked her about black rambutan. The teacher also did a story telling, but she didn't give a chance for the students to continue the story based on their creativity.

My lecturer asked me and my friends to work in group of five persons, to discuss about Tematik Teaching in the video, and what we can do if we were the teacher. The result of discussion were some new idea from my group and other groups. My friends and I found an unique idea, we can do an "estafet story telling".

I can learn from the video, what I have to do if I were the teacher in the video. It is not easy to be an effective teacher/educator. It needs much experience and and creativity. Hopefully, I will get more experience, explanation, and tips and trick how to be an effective teacher.

Describing, Reflecting, and Analyzing Personal Identity Through Name


Identity can called as a uniqueness from the people. Name is the simplest one from Identity. We can know people from their identity or the uniqueness without knowing their name. However, actually the case is the important of name. Some times, there are some people who want to be known by knowing their name, because every people is different.
Each people's name has meaning and secrets behind the name itself. The secrets could be characteristic of each people. I will give a certain example, that is my name. My name is Abdul Majid Robiansyah. The meaning of my name is The high follower of God. If I may guess, Robiansyah is from "Rob" in Arabic which the meaning is God, but I don't know the certain meaning of Robiansyah.
From what I experienced until now,I guessed that  the wish of my parents who have given me that name in order for giving me a high responsibility. Allah gave me a high responsibility through my parents. Responsibility to raise up the degree of my family. I have experienced many failure and success, but I know that I can learn many things from both those failure and success.
I was always be a class leader when I was in Senior High School. I am happy and enjoy when I led my friends in my class or group. I think that by leading group, I will learn many things about leadership and I can train my critical thinking. From that case, I have an ability in leadership.
When I was learning Humanistic Studies in second meeting in the class, my friend guess my characteristic. She guessed that I am a religious boy, and easy going, and she guessed the right answer. If I look from my name, Abdul comes from Arabic language which the meaning is Follower. From that word, I realize that I am religious person.  Then, it is Majid, it comes from Arabic language which the meaning is high. I have a high priority when I chose somehing, and when I make something, I always try to make it perfect by my self. I will ask help from other if I can't finish it. The last is Robiansyah. Rob comes from Arabic language which the meaning is God. We know that God has good and perfect characteristic. That refers to me, I am included to perfectionist person. I always make something perfect, and I always seeing all cases seriously. Because I believe that all things which done well and best from us, the result also will be good.

My Reflection about Effective Teacher


I learned about the main point of PETA itself as an introduction the first meeting in PETA subject, that is about effective teacher. I thought that the kind of teacher are only two, they are good teacher and bad teacher, but there is a term "effective teacher". First thing that came up in my mind was

"Who was your favorite teacher, and who was the teacher that you hate". That was the question that made me confused. Actually I don't really remember who is my favorite teacher and the opposite one. However, when I was in Vocational high school, I really amazed to my English teacher, and the chairman of my major in Vocational high school. One time, when he (My English teacher) was teaching my friends and me, he ever express that he was forgotten the meaning of an English word in Indonesia Language. From that expression, I could grab that he is very expert in English language. Then, the chairman of my major. He couldn't speak English, even his ability in speaking English is worse than me, but he had a great motivation and desirability to capable in speaking English.
I really wanna have a motivation as great as the chairman of my major, and capable to speak English well, but not forgetting the Indonesian Language.

The point that also very important for me as a educator candidate is how the teachers way when they teach us, is it effective? Is it right  that a good teacher is a teacher who has effectiveness in teaching?
When I was thinking about what is an effective teacher, the thing that comes up in my mind is the teacher who has students that always get a good score in the test/exam. It could be indicated that teachers' goal in teaching the students is fulfilled.

I think, an an effective teacher is a teacher who has good preparation before they teach, has good manners, clear in explaining the material, objective in giving assessment, creative, and understand what the students need. So, the purpose of teaching can be fulfilled.

I hope I can learn more about what the effective teacher is, and maybe tips and trick to be an effective teacher/educator.

Pendidik Seharusnya...


Hay, you meet me again. This post is my word about the educator. What I think about the good educator. I wrote it in Indonesian. Read and Enjoy it!

Tidak mudah menjadi pendidik. Apa benar?
Ya, pendidik yang umumnya disebut dengan istilah guru di Indonesia ini bukanlah profesi semudah membalikkan telapak tangan.
Pendidik dalam KBBI berarti orang yang mendidik; memelihara dan memberi latihan (ajaran, tuntunan, pimpinan) mengenai akhlak dan kecerdasan pikiran, sedangkan guru  adalah orang yang pekerjaannya mengajar; memberi pelajaran murid. Tidak masalah apakah ada perbedaan di antara keduanya, karena keduanya merupakan profesi yang mulia.
Menjadi pendidik butuh profesionalitas tinggi, serta tidak terpaku pada besarnya gaji yang didapat. Berapapun gajinya, pendidik profesional harus melakukan pekerjaanya dengan baik dan sepenuh hati. Pendidik itu:

1. Bukan profesi yang instan
Membentuk seorang pendidik tidak bisa dilakukan dalam waktu yang singkat. Butuh proses beberapa tahun untuk membentuknya.
Banyak orang yang bukan dari jurusan kependidikan tapi mereka berprofesi menjadi pendidik,  sebagai contoh, dari jurusan ekonomi, teknik, dan pertanian. Agar mereka dapat menjadi pendidik, diharuskan untuk menempuh pendidikan lagi sekitar 2 tahun. Selanjutnya dengan modal sertifikat (sertifikasi), mereka bisa mengajar di sekolah-sekolah sesuai jurusan mereka sebelumya.
Seorang pendidik seharusya dipersiapkan selama dia masuk bangku kuliah, maksudnya adalah seorang pendidk seharusnya berasal dari jurusan kependidikan. Jurusan kependidikan di bangku kuliah sudah merancang untuk membentuk mahasiswanya agar kelak mereka dapat menjadi pendidik yang profesional.

2. Bukan sebuah profesi pelarian
Profesi pendidik tidak pantas untuk dijadikan profesi pelarian. Profesi pelarian di sini maksdunya adalah profesi yang dijadikan pelarian sarjana-sarjana yang belum bekerja. Para sarjana yang belum bekerja, dan mereka yang tidak mau menganggur akhirnya lari ke dunia pendidikan dengan jalan menempuh pendidikan singkat guna untuk mewujudkan keinginan mereka untuk menjadi pendidik.

3. Butuh profesionalitas tinggi
Pendidik merupakan profesi yang sangat mulia. Tanpa seorang pendidik, seorang dokter tidak akan bisa menjadi dokter. Seorang dosen pun tidak akan bisa menjadi dosen kalau tidak ada pendidik. Profesi pendidik pun menjadi profesi yang sangat spesial di kalangan masyarakat. Tiap tahun, pemerintan menaikkan gaji pendidik. Pendidik PNS yang mempunyai pangkat terendah pun mendapat gaji sekitar Rp 2.500.000,-, itu belum  ditambah dengan tunjangan dan lain sebagainya. Nilai 'segitu' mungkin relatif, sebagian orang dapat berkata gaji dengan nilai segitu sudah besar, sebagian lagi dapat berkata nilai gaji yang segitu benar-benar 'segitu'.
Bagi pendidik, besar kecilnya gaji yang dia dapatkan seharusnya tidak mempengaruhi hasratnya untuk tetap memberikan pelayanan dan pengajaran yang terbaik untuk para muridnya di manapun dia berada. "Kalau gaji sedikit, saya ya bekerja semau saya. Kalau gaji besar baru saya lebih giat". Tidak bisa seperti itu. Pendidik haruslah profesional. Walaupun pada kenyataanya setiap performa kerja pada setiap profesi  tergantung pada besar kecilnya gaji yang didapatkan, tapi pendidik yang baik haruslah profesional, dan tetap memberikan yang terbaik yang bisa mereka berikan untuk para muridnya.

4. Tidak hanya transfer ilmu
Berdasarkan pengalaman saya ketika masih duduk di bangku SMK, masih banyak pendidik yang hanya men-transfer  ilmu dari buku kepada muridnya di kelas. Salah satunya adalah pendidik di pelajaran IPA.  Beliau datang hanya bermodal buku materi 1, buku absensi 1, buku jurnal 1, dan spidol. Beliau lebih banyak duduk di 'singgasana'nya, dan menerangkan materi sambil membaca buku yang beliau bawa.
Berdasarkan pengalaman itu, pendidik hanya men-transfer ilmu dari buku pedoman materi. Pendidik yang baik seharusnya lebih dari itu.
Pendidik yang baik seharusnya 'total' dalam mendidik. Tidak hanya meneruskan ilmu dari buku ke murid, namun pendidik harus dapat menghidupkan suasana di kelas. Menjadikan murid lebih aktif di dalam kelas, mengajarkan tentang 'respect', mengetahui setiap karakter dan perkembangan murid, dan mampu menerapkan berbagai metode mengajar di dalam kelas. Serta menjadi guru yang dirindukan oleh murid-muridnya.

5. Tidak terbatas status
Pendidik merupakan orang tua di sekolah.Ttidak hanya "Saya adalah guru, kamu adalah murid saya". Pendidik yang baik haruslah dapat tidak hanya menjadi seorang pendidik, tapi bisa menjadi seorang teman, sahabat, dan orang tua bagi murid. Dengan seperti itu, murid menjadi lebih senang dalam belajar di sekolah

Bagi calon pendidik, berpikirlah mulai dari sekarang mau jadi pendidik yang seperti apa ketika kalian mendidik murid-murid anda. Mau jadi pendidik yang dirindukan kedatangannya di kelas, atau dirindukan ketidakhadirannya di kelas?

Bagi para pendidik, rancanglah diri and untuk dapat menjadi yang terbaik untuk murid anda. Jadikanlah diri anda dirindukan oleh mereka.

Para orang tua yang berbahagia, jadilah orang tua yang peduli terhadap pendidikan dan masa depan anak anda. Berikanlah yang terbaik untuk anak anda, terutama kebutuhan mereka akan pendidikan.

Cerita Motivasi


Aku percaya, aku akan menjadi orang besar*

Mega sedang menikmati damainya sore hari di teras depan kostan, di tanah perantauan, ditemani secangkir teh dan beberapa potong biskuit. Terasa damai, walaupun sekitarnya seakan hutan rimba yang siap menelan tubuhnya, begitu keras. Begitu banyak orang lalu lalang sibuk dengan urusan masing-masing. Begitulah sudut pandang Mega, gadis cantik yang sedang menuntut ilmu demi meraih citanya di kota orang lain, kota yang dia dimana dia berada sekarang, kota yang jadi tujuan banyak orang mengadu nasib, Jakarta. Begitu damai hatinya, hingga keramaian sekitar tak mengganggu saat santainya.

Matanya asyik memandang beberapa foto yang ada di HP nya. Itu adalah foto-foto orang tuanya yang berada di kampung halaman, dan foto adiknya.  Senyumnya mengembang ketika melihat foto-foto itu. Pikirannya melayang menikmati masa-masa indah dimana mereka masih bersama, saat dia masih bocah. Masa disaat Mega belum tau ingin dan akan jadi apa. Sejenak dia terganggu dengan teriakan anak-anak yang sedang bermain di depan rumah samping kostan-nya. Rasa penasaran menuntunnya untuk melihat mereka yang sedang bermain-main.

Satu anak laki-laki jatuh, lututnya terluka hingga dia menangis. Anak kecil berusia sekitar 3 tahun itu menangis sambil memanggil nama ibunya. Beberapa saat ibunya menghampirinya. Ibu itu menenangkan anaknya, sambil berkata, "Cup, Sayang! Masa mau jadi polisi cengeng gini sih? Pak polisi itu kaya gimana, Sayang? Kalo polisi itu nggak boleh cengeng. Polisi itu kuat, nggak gampang nangis. Cup yah…". Sekilas, Mega teringat dengan kata-kata ibunya padanya saat dia menginjak SMP kelas 3.

Saat itu Mega dan adiknya, ada kedua orang tuanya juga di situ. Mereka sedang nonton TV di ruang keluarga. Itu adalah saat yang langka, karena semua anggota keluarganya kumpul jadi satu, karena biasanya hanya Mega, ibu, dan adiknya yg ada di rumah pada saat seperti itu, saat istirahat setelah sholat maghrib. Mega membuat kejahilan kecil pada adiknya, hingga adiknya ngambek. Dia tetap saja membuat kejahilan sambil mengejek adiknya. Sampai saat ibunya menegurnya, "Mega!". Mega menghentikan kejahilannya. "Kamu itu bakal jadi orang besar, gak pantes ah kalo kaya gitu" tegur ibunya. "Iya, orang yang perutnya besar", ejek adiknya. "Jaga sikap dan sopan-santunmu, Nak. Orang besar harus bisa menjaga sikap dan sopan santun", kata ibunya. "Kenapa Ibu' ngomong kaya gitu?", tanya Mega. "Ibu yakin, kau akan jadi orang besar kelak", tegas ibunya. Tak lama, terdengar suara adzan Isya', Mega pun bergegas mengambil air wudlu untuk melaksanakan sholat.

Perkataan dari ibunya itu sempat mengganggu pikiran Mega usai sholat. "Apa maksud ibu tadi ya? Ah, biarin aja deh!".

Waktu berjalan, tak terasa Mega sudah menginjak usia remaja. Pendidikan di sekolah menengah pun sudah selesai. Mega mempunyai keinginan untuk meneruskan sekolahnya ke jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi. Mega mencoba mengikuti seleksi di Perguruan Tinggi Negeri di daerah tempat tinggalnya, yaitu di Jawa Tengah. Namun, usahanya belum berhasil lolos seleksi tersebut.

Cobaan datang lagi mengahmpirinya. 1 bulan setelah tak lolosnya Mega di perguruan tinggi, dia mencoba mengikuti seleksi karyawati supermarket. Salah satu teman SMA nya, entah  mengejek atau sekedar bercanda, berkata pada Mega, "Oh, gini ya? Juara kok nggak kuliah ini gimana?". Mega hanya tersenyum, lalu pergi menahan sakit hatinya. Dia memang mendapat ranking satu paralel sewaktu UN di sekolahnya. Dalam seleksi karyawati itu, dia diterima, tapi dia tidak mengambilnya, karena ijazah asli harus ditahan oleh pihak manajemen supermarket. Itu akan menghalangi niatnya untuk kuliah.

Tidak mudah bagi Mega dalam menghadapi kegagalannya. Drop dan down yang dia rasakan. Tidak bisa lagi berpikir, mau apa dia sekarang, bertahan dia dalam lamunan.

"KAMU AKAN JADI ORANG BESAR NANTINYA!", ingat Mega sesaat. Lamunannya buyar. "Kalau aku begini terus, aku gak bakal bisa apa-apa. Mungkin aku gagal tahun ini, tapi aku akan berhasil tahun depan", kata Mega. Semangatnya perlahan muncul kembali. Beranjak berdiri. "Ya, aku mau kerja dulu, lalu penghasilannya akan aku tabung untuk biaya daftar perguruan tinggi di tahun depan!", tegas Mega.

Mega bekerja sebagai operator warnet di daerah sekitar tempat tinggalnya. Menjadi operator warnet sekitar tujuh bulan sangat bermanfaat baginya. Selain menambah ilmu dan pengalaman baru, dia juga bisa menolong teman-temannya mencarikan info beasiswa dan lowongan pekerjaan. Walaupun begitu, rintangan yang ada saat dia bekerja tetap ada, rintangan tersebut sempat membuat dia down juga, dan sempat ingin keluar dari pekerjaannya. Namun, dengan bersyukur, dia semakin kuat dan makin banyak belajar dari rintangan yang dia alami. Setiap sholatnya, dia bersyukur kepada Allah, dan setiap usai sholat dia berbisik pada hatinya, "Aku percaya, aku akan jadi orang besar!"

Itulah motivasi yang Mega tanamkan dalam diri Mega, dia selalu mengingatnya dikala menghadapi susahnya hidup.

Satu saat, ada tawaran dari seniornya untuk kuliah di perguruan tinggi swasta di Jakarta. Mega penasaran dengan tawaran itu. Dia cek website perguruan tinggi tersebut, lalu dia putuskan untuk mencobanya. Mega mohon ijin pada kedua orang tuanya untuk pergi ke Jakarta dan ikut tes itu. Dia termasuk gadis yang berani, karena berani pergi ke Jakarta seorang diri. Berusaha yang terbaik, itu yang bisa dia lakukan dalam tes tersebut. Selebihnya dia serahkan pada Allah, apapun hasilnya. Selesai seleksi, dia kembali lagi ke daerah asalnya.

Tak disangkanya, hasilnya begitu menggembirakannya. Mega lolos seleksi perguruan tinggi itu. Mega yakin untuk mengambil kesempatan itu. Dalam hatinya, siapa tahu itu kesempatannya untuk meraih keyakinannya, "menjadi orang besar". Orang tua Mega merestuinya untuk sekolah di perguruan tinggi tersebut.

Sampai sekarang, masuk semester tiga, Mega menikmati perjalanan hidupnya. Motivasi yang besar itu, dia rasakan dari Allah melalui perkataan ibunya, perkataan yang selalu membakar semangatnya. "Aku akan jadi orang besar kelak", bisik Mega.

Adzan maghrib berkumandang, saatnya Mega melaksanakan sholat maghrib. Tak terasa sore sudah menjelma menjadi malam.  Mega bergegas menghabiskan teh yang belum habis, lalu mengambil air wudlu untuk melaksanakan sholat di kostannya.

Sungguh nikmat bagi Mega, mengenang perjuangannya untuk bisa sampai sekarang. Baginya tiada yang tak mungkin, tidak akan tahu selagi belum mencoba. Satu lagi, dia selalu mengingat sesuatu, apakah itu perkataan oarng tuanya, orang lain, tokoh, apapun itu yang bisa memotivasinya. Motivasi itu penting. Motivasi bisa jadi salah satu sumber semangat baginya untuk terus maju menghadapi rintangan yang dia hadapi.

The New Mas Majid

Hi... It's me, Abdul Majid Robiansyah.

I came in the new blog, with new styles and new view.
I was no direction in making my first blog (Kata Mas Majid). It made me confused, what must I write on my blog. When I saw others blog, the better blogs, I often feel jealous. I feel jealous because I couldn't make a blog like them. I couldn't write nicely like them.

I'll try to make a better blog in this my new blog. There's a certain direction, I wanna make a useful blog, that's it!
